Connecting With Your Audience Without Going ‘Live’
If you’re a frequent user of Instagram, you probably can’t count the number of times in the past few weeks that brands have said, “Tune in to our live stream!” It feels like every brand (and every person, for that matter) is going live on Instagram right now.
We get it: it’s a reflex effort to connect with people in a time where we can’t be with them. We love that. We’re so happy to see brands being more intentional about connecting with their people. But, what if Instagram Live isn’t the only way to connect? What if, during this time, we can find a million more ways to connect with one another even when we can’t physically be together?
So, how can we connect with our audiences, with other human beings, while being quarantined at home? We’ve found a couple of brands who are doing more than the reflex of “going live on Instagram” and connecting with their people in a unique way. Let’s talk about ‘em!

The Break, an NYC-based store, studio, and event space, is inviting their followers to create art-pieces based on photos from their Instagram. The winner’s art will be printed on t-shirts, and they will also win a $200 gift card and 10% commission on all sales of their t-shirt design!
